WHIRLPOOL

Festival of Friends in Hamilton a few weekends ago - didn't have a tripod so I got creative and used the headlight of a truck, which was parked right next to the tiltawhirl.....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee looks like a UFO and a bansaw lightshow

I volunteered as a Dish Ninja at the Hillside music festival in Guelph at the end of July. Aside from being a great festival for new music, it's the biggest hippie fest anywhere in Canada - everything that can be washed, reused, and recycled at the festival is....I washed close to 1200-1300 plates on Saturday night (1 plate very 10 seconds for 4 hours)...x10 dishwashing volunteers working at the time...it was nuts...but, we had a great soundtrack as the festival's main stage was directly adjacent to our dish ninja pit!

Dappled

We were invited into the chapel of a private college this week on our Art Lunch outing. I liked the way the sun came through the stained glass and fell on these pews. - Brian

Under the Bridge

This Friday we spent our Art Lunch under a graffiti decorated bridge. Improvement work had begun on structure forcing the colourful walls to compete with the grays of construction. - Brian

was not happy about some guy on the bridge zeroing in on him.

Single Lane Bridge

To be honest, I wasn't extremely inspired by this week's Art 4 Lunch location. A short drive from Pipeline is this single lane bridge. The road is heavily traveled and frequently the cars bottlenecked on either side. I selected this capture, because I think I struck an even exposure balance between earth and sky, seeing both clouds and sky... - Brian
